The Arbequina variety originates from Palestine and was introduced to Spain by the Duke of Medinaceli, baron of Arbeca. It takes its name from this Catalan town, where its cultivation spread, and is now also found in Catalonia and Aragon.
This single-variety EVOO (100% Arbequina) comes from the estates of the Pobill Ecològics farm (Poubonet and Bovalar).
