Two varieties from the Baix Maestrat, one harmony
This coupage combines two varieties grown on around 7,000 hectares spread between the Baix Maestrat (Castelló) and southern Catalonia, with a possible origin in the Reguers area (Tarragona).
This EVOO is a coupage of single-variety EVOOs, blended in the exact proportion for a balanced and versatile profile. It comes from estates of the Pobill Ecològics farm. It stands out for its late ripening and good yield.
The tree and the fruit
Arbre: Sparse canopy, open habit and medium vigour. Inflorescences long and with abundant flowers. Leaf narrow, elliptic-lanceolate, with hyponastic curvature and medium width.
Fruit: Ovoid in shape, asymmetric and medium weight, with the maximum transverse diameter centred, a nipple, rounded apex and truncated base. Pit heavy, slightly symmetric ellipse, smooth surface and a medium number of grooves.
